Class B Assistant Crew Leader
We're seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Class B Assistant Crew Leader. If you have a passion for working in the construction, maintenance, and repair of Communication Systems, Utility, and Highway Signage, we want to hear from you! As a key member of our crew, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects at different locations, both locally and occasionally out of state.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of a crew of workers in the absence of the Class A Crew Leader
* Provide training and guidance to crew members to ensure completion of projects
* Conduct pre-job or tailgate briefings to ensure a safe working environment
* Possess working knowledge of all aspects of install/maintenance work, including setting of concrete and wood poles, installing and maintaining digital messaging signs, and operating necessary equipment
* Troubleshoot problems and supervise troubleshooting
* Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools in good working order
* Perform rigorous physical labor, including working at heights and in confined spaces
* Analyze blueprints and other technical drawings to complete jobs
* Complete daily logs and reports, and communicate effectively with other crew members and customers
Qualifications
* 3 years of recent field experience
* Class A CDL
* Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
* Ability to travel long distances at short notice, and work for extended periods in various locations
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
* Certification in SCDOT traffic control, MUTCD, and Traffic Flagger, as well as Temporary Traffic Control Design and Supervision
* Positive customer service focus, dedicated team member, problem-solving skills, and ability to follow company safety rules and policies

Class C Technician

Responsibilities:
* Perform construction, maintenance, and repair work on Communication Systems, Utility, and Highway Signage at various locations
* Travel to different sites, including occasional out-of-state travel, to meet customer demands
* Work safely in a fast-paced environment, adhering to safety protocols and using personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
* Assist with rigging sign structures, installing conduits underground, and maintaining company vehicles, equipment, and tools
* Perform rigorous physical labor, including working at heights and/or confined spaces, and operating heavy equipment
* Communicate effectively with customers and employees, meeting daily deadlines and requirements
Qualifications:
* At least 2 years of recent field experience in a related trade
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
* Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
* Certification in SCDOT traffic control, MUTCD, and Traffic Flagger, with knowledge of work zone traffic control
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in extreme weather conditions
* Willingness to obtain a Class A CDL and work overtime when requested
